Bizarre, Sierra Confirm Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Nintendo DS and Wii to receive exclusive renditions.
 
Earlier this week, word leaked that Bizarre Creations had passed on development duties for further Geometry Wars games on Nintendo DS and Wii to Kuju Entertainment, the same folks behind the Battalion Wars series. Turns out that's actually happening; today, Sierra Entertainment, Bizarre and Kuju all confirmed the news is true. We have precious few details on the actual games, but Geometry Wars: Galaxies is most definitely a go for both platforms. "You guys didn't think we'd neglect you Geometry Wars fans forever did you?" said Bizarre Creations on its website.

 

Don't think Bizarre's ditched working on these games, though. They prototyped control schemes on both platforms before development was handed to Kuju. "We're confident that the games will play superbly on the new platforms and will avoid the trap of adding a new control method just for the sake of it," they said. Both games should arrive sometime this fall.
