Free 360 Shooter Hits Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday
Intern project Aegis Wing available for a limited time starting this week. Looks like the underwhelming Soltrio Solitaire isnt the only game hitting Xbox Live Arcade this week after all. Beginning this Wednesday, all Xbox Live users (Gold and Silver) will be able to download a completely free 2D space shooter called Aegis Wing. Its certainly an interesting experiment: Microsoft gives three student interns (who were working at the company last summer) a shot at making a pro game, puts the trio together with a known developer and waits to see what will happen. Well, the result is Aegis Wing, an Xbox Live Arcade title that Microsoft has offered to the Xbox 360 community (apparently only in North America) as a free downloadable gameat least for a limited time.
