Providing the most complete online walkthrough strategy game guide for DYNASTY WARRIORS 6. Our WALKTHROUGH VIDEO GAME STRATEGY GUIDE is for the XBOX 360 & PS3 PLAYSTATION 3 Platforms. Game Guide Dog reviews DYNASTY WARRIORS 6 and we think these Dynasty Warriors reviews are getting redundant at this point, however, just to remind everyone: Dynasty Warriors is the game that launched several consoles back in the day. In the week that Dynasty Warriors 6 (or Shin Sangokumusou 5 as it's known over there) came out in Japan, sales of the PS3 finally outweighed the Wii believe it or not. The game as usual is chock full of unique charm, oh yes, of Koei's battlefield blend of strategy, action, terrible voice-acting, and the completely ridiculous hairstyles. For the average gamer not familiar with the series, Dynasty Warriors 6 remains a bit too closely similar to previous installments: pick one of the warriors, fight through battlefields full of swarming enemies, activate combo attack moves through the Romance of the Three Kingdoms playfields (as reiterated from the previous 15 or so versions of this game.) Additionally you can now ride in boats! Visual improvement is of course a main qualifying improvement from previous versions. Now it's in high definition, with that moving camera style "ooooh ahhhh" and these awesome glowie glowie and shiny shiny animation sequences in and during the action itself does bring the game closer to putting you into the action that it has in the past. To quote Eurogamer: "To the trained, Dynasty Warriors-hardened eye, however, things are very different. There are all sorts of tweaks and new features that will only matter to people who have immersed themselves in the series so far. Now you can climb ladders, swim through water, ride boats, and smash through gates to reach strongholds that play a slightly more important role than before (and can be captured after you've eliminated any officers present). Some of the battlefields are populated with fearsome animals and certain characters are equipped with different weapons. And your character levels up in the midst of battles, though it's only at the end of battles that you get to assign points in order to progress along a multi-branching skill tree."
