Alone in the Dark, the series of which is considered the original gangster of survival horror games, arrives on Wii, Xbox 360, PS2 and PC on June 24, and later this fall on PS3. I think this game is going to flop just like most of the NEXT GEN games. Crackdown let you fight the boss first if you found him but it was reallly a tuff fight. Besides GTA4, the last game I played that had me hooked from beginning to end was GoW2. Truthfully, everything has been a letdown to me all glamour and no substance. I love that trailer! I really want to play this game but the only gameplay I've seen was pretty cheesy :( Interesting idea. But I'm pretty excited to play this game. You'd have to be a wimp to skip to the ending. What's the point of the game if your going to give up, and just jump to the ending? Get to see the end without completing the game????!! That's some BS! Talk about cheating yourself out of money. A $60 video game should keep you entertained for MONTHS!!! lol wow..why not just beat the game for people....what a stoopid gd idea..this game is gonna blow chunks..just like the other alone in the dark's..this series may have ctarted b4 the RE series..but RE pwns this series..and always will! just give up on this junk of a game already thanks! good idea now day if you want to see the ending and couldn't finish the game just go to youtube.
This game is gonna KICK ASS. . . . Alone in the Dark IS the Granddaddy of survival horror, . . it laid the groundwork for the genre. . . If you never checked out Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare for the PS or the DC and you like horror, . . GET IT! . . you can pick em up new on ebay for like 8 bucks. . The dreamcast version is the better of the two for sure cause it was still on the original PS as oppose to the PS2, . . but wither way it's pretty cool and it will keep you busy for a while. . . I really hope this game retains the creepiness and mood of the last one, from the looks of it they did a killer job
WHAT?!?!?!?!?! I do not agree with this at all. FINISH THE DANG GAME!!!! This is part of what's wrong with our society! TOO MANY CORNERS CUT!!!!!!!!!!!! trumble be rockin the cheek buttons like a hamster Think i will but ps2 version first too. there are better survival-horrors now Big fan of Resident Evil! But I do say this Looks GREAT! I have kept an eye on this one for awhile. I have played the Alone in the Dark on the PS1 but wasn't inpressed. This one looks really cool though. (I think they put a lot of work into the game, knowing if this game doesn't sell... we might as well put this game to rest.) I played ps2 version, didnt quite get the plot maybe it was just me. I hope this game turns out well - I mean, if it doesn't, it might end up being Atari's swan song. Lol the orginal gangster of horror of horror survival games im gonna pass on this game

Truthfully, I am a corny, nerdy, fat, old, dirty m*thaf*cker who gets off by beating my bologna while looking at my avatar. Sire, you're the kind of person that likes to disagree with the trend. But when theres a new article that you love, but everyone else "doesn't like" you gotta go and make em feel bad for not feeling the same way you do. I respect your opinions, but I think you're just too self-centered to realize that you're, in many ways, Microsofts personal Gamepro tool. LAME!!! how could PHIL_HARRISON let the PS3 version slide untill the fall? freaking traitor!..........anyway, this game is gonna suck because it's also coming out for the last gen consoles so that makes it not next-gen. i'm not even gonna rent it. i'll just wait for resident evil 5 When I'm Alone in the Dark... I scratch my butt. Anyways, Skip to the Ending? Another brilliant move by Atari ...Just keep that up, and you'll be on top again! ... snicker, snicker! skipping levels thats just stupid....if u need to skip levels in order to beat a game then u shouldnt be playing games why skip levels when you can use cheats? juicy
