GAMEGUIDEDOG.COM IS PROUD to be able to provide the most complete and best online walkthrough strategy game guide for:
FIRE EMBLEM RADIANT DAWN FOR THE Nintendo Wii Platform. GameGuideDog's Online Game Walkthrough Guide located here (in members area): http://www.wonderdogsoftware.com/GUIDES_9/FIRERD.htm We have had many requests regarding this title, and gladly have once again pulled through for our very loyal members. Most people in the States really did not know about this gem of a series until Marth and Roy debuted in 2001's Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Nintendo GameCube. Well you won’t find Marth and Roy here. Instead you control the runaway Dawn Brigade led by the young Micaiah and her adopted brother Sothe. Radiant Dawn is a tactical RPG, which means you’ll be engaging enemies in turn based battles across a variety of environments on a grid. Think of it like chess on steroids. And like chess, once you kill your enemy’s leader the victory is yours. If only winning battles was easy though. For those new to Fire Emblem, I’d recommend you play Easy Mode if you value your self esteem. I am new to the series and went guns blazing on Normal Mode, and died in less than 5 minutes…twice. Easy is still tough, but offers excellent tutorials to help any newbie or accomplished tactical RPG player get used to the battle system. Once you get the hang of it, you'll discover that building your characters and flanking enemy units into submission is a lot of fun. Just to warn you, there is no motion control or pointing with the Wii Remote in this game. Although playable with just the Wii remote alone, the controls require pressing multiple buttons at the same time and is not worth the chore. Instead plug in a classic or GameCube controller and play it just like you did with the GameCube prequel, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. And how Radiant Dawn controls like a GameCube game, its visuals are on par GameCube prequel. The CGI cut scenes are well rendered and voiced which help develop the characterization of Micaiah and her comrades. For those with HDTV’s (Or EDTV’s) you can enjoy Radiant Dawn in 16:9 widescreen which was specially tailored for the US release. In game battles and CGI cut scenes benefit from the expanded view, but of some 2-D character art dialog is left with sidebars not corrected from the original fullscreen-only Japanese release.
