This just in for GameGuideDog.com game action news! Tenchu 4 (also probably called Tenchu IV) is scheduled for release late October '08.
The Tenchu series of titles has always been above and beyond par to my expectations in the past and personally I can't wait to both review the game as well as get you the game guide walkthrough for it.
Again, Tenchu 4 will be released in Japan on 23 October and here is the latest trailer.
It's all in Japanese so we know little about the story but Tenchu 4 appears to be another violent videogame set in feudal Japan.
The man looks like Rikimaru, the sliver-haired head of the Azuma Ninja clan. He starred in the original Tenchu game. The female character is likely to be Ayame - she's also a member of the Azuma clan but she carries a pair of kodachi (a short Japanese sword) and is faster than Rikimaru.
The trailer below has mostly CGI footage before moving onto some gamplay action where we can see both characters killing enemies with their ninja skills
