The Magmoor Caverns and Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime managed to step clear of their fire and ice branding and feel like frank sitting room; their equivalents in Other M attend to to turn up opposite as nicely-built videogame levels at unsurpassed, and sets for the future’s dumbest soap opera at most evil. The game’s corridors and closets are still densely packed with puzzles and secrets and startling Morph orb speedways, but that old gist of frank discovery is to some extent diminished.
