Just Cause 2 Update News PreviewWhat do we like so far about JUST CAUSE 2? 01 A spot of skillful grapple hooking, and you too could have your own helicopter gunship. 02 When Croker said he had a great idea in The Italian Job, he wasn’t kidding. 03 It won’t all be about battling the enemy on the ground - there’ll be air-to-air combat as well. 04 Guess he doesn’t want to share his car with you. Typical only child. 05 We have rather fond memories of the first Just Cause. Sure, it wasn’t perfect, and it is showing its age now (although considering that the original launched in 2006, this is understandable), but with its combination of laid-back, free-roaming gameplay and some exciting missions, it was essentially the right game at the right time. Things might have moved on since then, but Avalanche Studios hasn’t been resting on its laurels either - and the results are showing handsomely in the sequel. The graphics - somewhat predictably, given the amount of time that has elapsed since the release of the original - have come on leaps and bounds.
