Many PSP owners can attest that the first two Mercury titles were sublime puzzle games but somewhat hamstrung by the lack of a promised motion sensor that was never released. Enter the Wii motion sensing remote, a perfectly intuitive controller for a game that has players guiding mercury blobs by tilting a maze.

The controller is held sideways like a traditional gamepad but small movements tilt the environment and cause the glistening metal beads to slide around. Your task is to guide the precious metal to the exit without spilling too much into the abyss.

The game is effortlessly easy to grasp but guiding the globules safely through the various obstacle filled labyrinths soon becomes tricky. The mercury behaves in a convincingly realistic manner, able to divide into multiple blobs before merging into one droplet again.
