This time Ratchet & Clank must embark on a galactic adventure to find an ancient device that is the key to preventing the return of an ancient, evil race of inter-dimensional aliens called the Cragmites. To make matters worse, for some unknown reason Cragmites hate Lombaxes of which Ratchet is the sole living survivor. Once again, Ratchet & Clank must not only save the galaxy from annihilation, but unravel the mystery of Ratchet's origin as well.
