Rumor: Eternal Sonata Coming to PS3?
ESRB says old school RPG is in cahoots with Sony, too.
It looks like Namco Bandai's Eternal Sonata, which you may know better as Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream, may be finding a home on the PS3, not just the 360. Remember that ESRB listing update I was telling you about earlier? Well, it has Eternal Sonata slated for a PS3 release in addition to the expected 360 version.
I'm very much looking forward to this one, and not just because it's from Tri-Crescendo, the folks who made Baten Kaitos. RPGs tend to stick to a fairly tried and true roster of characters and plot elements, so when one comes along that steps outside of those lines, it's worthy of note.

Eternal Sonata takes place a few hours before the death of legendary composer Frederic Chopin. Deep in the throes of tuberculosis, Chopin enters a dream world where people with terminal illnesses have magical powers. Given that his demise is a certainty, the game should have some truly interesting plot progression, not to mention the music of the maestro. Definitely a cut above the usual elemental magic, amnesia-riddled hero, and Unspeakable Evil.
