Silent Hill Origins provides PSP owners with a prequel to Konami's long standing horror franchise, filling some holes while creating new ones. All of the familiar trappings  the impenetrable fog, faceless (yet still hot) nurses and creepy townsfolk return, except now gamers will enjoy a brand new story, a macabre tale that revolves around Travis O'Grady, a trucker that drives into the hellish town and plummets into a living nightmare. Throughout the adventure, players must complete puzzles as well as destroy monsters using a host of destructible weapons. The game looks impressive, with rolling fog, detailed characters and plenty of creepy locations. Providing Konami nails the controls, Silent Hill Origins should become a must have PSP hit when it debuts this August.
