Video Game Walkthrough Guide coming to WDS!
Simpsons Game Countdown Parodies GTA IV
Just under two days until the games revealed. Publisher Electronic Arts could be plotting an unveiling for a new officially-licensed game based on the The Simpsons. News of the new title by the end of this week could be on the cards, too, with EA having initially created a count-down page to something, the familiar styling of said marketing site hinting at the subject of the new game. The count-down is expected to conclude late tomorrow according to reports (though the site in question is actually down at the time of checking), though EA aren't saying anything at present - leading us to suspect this could be a red herring, a mistake, or that the company might even have changed their plans. Any EA insiders care to fill us in?
EA signed a new licensing deal covering The Simpsons in late 2005, having published several successful titles based on the property in the past. The first Simpsons movie is due out this July, and it would be a surprise if EA weren't plotting something to take advantage of the flick's marketing potential.
