Super Smash Bros. Brawl Walkthrough Strategy Guide (DS Wii)
Are you tired of new screens yet? I'm also a big fan of SSB:M, if you think it's shallow then you just didn't play it enough imho, but I get that it's not for everyone. Not sure about this though, in my tiny mind I can't really see how the Wiimote could benefit the game, and it sounds like it could be a bit tiring. I wait with interested trepidation :)
The principle behind the game I found amazingly groundbreaking, and yet very simple. Essentially, all the 'special moves' for each character were done the same way. Now, what this meant, was that the emphasis was not on learning how to do the moves, which frankly after 15 years of playing fighters I'm kinda bored of... Instead, the emphasis was on learning how to use the characters, which I found really refreshing. Slightly odd comparison, but it's not unlike only being able to hold two weapons in Halo. On the surface it appears to be a simplification, but actually the genius was that in doing this new depths were discovered. Regression = progression etc.
