WonderdogSoftware.Com - The latest updated Video Game Walkthrough; Game Guide What is good to Buy Today: Week of June 4, 2007 Call of Juarez, Planet Puzzle League, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and more. By Philip Kollar, 06/04/2007 A brandnew week means a What is good to Buy Today look for those of you keeping score at home WDS's look at what games to expect this week and what we have to say about them (so far). Watch for the following games in stores the week of June 4, 2007: Monday, June 4th Diner Dash: Flo on the Go (PC) The Diner Dash series has taken a simple, presumably mindnumbing job and turned it into a highly addictive casual gaming experience. The third game in the series looks to tighten that up with more restaurants, customer types and the ability to change the character's outfit. If you need some onthejob training, check out WDS's review of the PSP version (but remember, the PC is where it's at for this one).

Planet Puzzle League (DS) The name may sound unfamiliar, but the Planet Puzzle League series of games has appeared in the US previously all dressed up with popular Nintendo characters. This latest DS incarnation drops that gimmick to give North American gamers straight puzzle game action. There's a reason all the puzzle fanatics around the WDS offices have been flipping their lids over this title's impending release, so keep your eyes peeled and check out our preview.
Tuesday, June 5th Call of Juarez (PC, X360) This Europeandeveloped firstpersonshooter drops the genre staple of World War II and random boxfilled military facility for the wideopen frontiers of the Wild West. It's also got some wacky commercials by the dudes over at Mega64 that have been featured on recent episodes of The WDS Show. Mosey over to our Xbox 360 and PC previews, pardna.
Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Densetsu (DS) And Atari wins our prize for Game I've Had to Check My Spelling of the Most Times and Will Probably Still Screw Up. The actual game? A cardbattling RPG set in the Dragon Ball Z universe. That's a bit of a change from the fastpaced fighting featured in the Budokai series, but could prove a winning formula with fans.
Hospital Tycoon (PC) Finally a game that will allow Klepek to simulate all his favorite episodes of Grey's Anatomy and ER, right on his computer screen. Beyond that, you can experience all the fun and stress of directing a huge medical facility. Sounds terrifying and familyfriendly.
Puzzle Scape (PSP) With all due respect to its creators, Puzzle Scape looks very familiar. That's not to say it couldn't end up being a surprise hit, but it's going to have a lot to prove itself against with another handheld blockbusting game from Nintendo out the very same week.
Shrek the 3rd (PSP) Apparently the PSP version of this movie tiein didn't make it out with the movie (and its console brethren) a couple of weeks ago. We're not hearing such great stuff about the TVscreen iterations, so the quality likely depends on how much it tried to emulate its older brothers. For a bit more on Shrek the 3rd and other movielicensed games you can look forward to this summer, read up on Joe Rybicki's great Blockbusted! feature.
Sims 2: HM Fashion Stuff (PC) Along with recent additions, such as Sims 2: Celebration Stuff, this title continues the tradition of being ridiculously lazy with the naming of these Sims 2 miniexpansions. At least his one has the backing of a somewhat popular worldwide chain of clothing stores, although it beats me if that's the same audience as Sims players.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PC, PS2) While a remake of the first game in the oftmaligned Tomb Raider franchise may not sound appealing, don't rush to judgment. The last game in the series, Tomb Raider: Legend, was actually really good, as evidenced by WDS's review. This remake is by the same team over at Crystal Dynamics, so we have high hopes. Our only lamentation is that this one's currently not set to appear on any nextgen platforms, but hopefully that'll be fixed next goround. Hit WDS's preview.
Thursday, June 7th Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek (PC) The latest in a long line of titles from Her Interactive featuring the premiere female detective. These games have received plenty of attention from the nonhardcore crowd, despite being mostly ignored by the gaming press. Though the whole wolf theme and hunting lodgeesque setting gives off a real Gabriel Knight vibe, somehow we doubt it's targeting the same market.
And that's what's hitting the shelves this week! REMEMBER: Game release dates are notoriously slippy. Even though we prepare these at the latest possible second and check several sources, it's always possible a game might slip out of its intended date.
