A Turrican remake has been bounced around for years now, but Factor 5s done little to suggest theyve made any progress on bringing the 1990 Commodore 64 action game into modernity. Still, as recent as an interview published today on Gamasutra, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht says theyre working on it:
According to Japanese publication Weekly Famitsu, Namco Bandai has announced Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 for the Nintendo Wii.
The game will be an action shooter from a firstperson perspective. Similar to controls of other first person shooters on the Wii, players will use the Wii remote to aim and shoot while the nunchuk controller will be used to move the mechs. You can use the control pad to zoom into sniper mode and shoot targets at longrange.
The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump reveals that the combat system of Dragon Quest IX for the DS will retain the traditional turnbased system as opposed to a more actionoriented one suggested in earlier reports.
While Crash of the Titans doesnt have any stopmotion monsters or mechanical owls (that we know of), it certainly has its own set of Titans to pit against the series hero, Crash. Its all thanks to Neo and Nina Cortex who are once again up to no good, causing creatures to mutate with their mysterious evil schemes. And this time, it seems that upstart Nina is going to show Dr. Cortex a thing or two about world domination. That is, unless Crash has anything to say about it.
