Final Fantasy Remakes Coming to PSP Classics to be remade one more time. 01/17/2007 First the NES, followed by the PlayStation, and the GBA, with a minor detour on the Wonderswan Color in Japan. Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II are once again being remade for the PSP to celebrate Final Fantasy's 20th Anniversary. Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition and Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition are both the fourth remake of their respective NES releases, although this time around, the graphics will get their biggest overhaul, looking more like the SNES Final Fantasies than previous remakes. The extra dungeons from the Advance versions make a return, as well as the monster encyclopedia and music players. Also making a welcome return are the CG intros from the PlayStation remakes. In addition to this, the games will feature galleries of artwork from Yoshitaka Amano, the creator of some of the most beautiful Final Fantasy artwork. Both remakes will see a release this year in Japan, twenty years after the original Final Fantasy was released for the Japanese Famicom system. The big question is, however, when will the games be released in the US? If they wait for the 20th Anniversary of the original NES release, they won't see stores until 2010! Other WDS GUIDES: GRAND
