Designed
to cater to gamers on an individual basis, we launched
this site in 2001. We also have published and distributed Wonderdog
Software's GameGuideDog.com games like Virtual
Juggler 3D™and Deluxe
Solitaire for Kids™ which have been played by millions. Two years later
the FCC finally authorized the ESRB Game Ratings System (our primary mission)
and to this very day,
the
mission to educate families around the globe about the importance of the Game
Ratings System continues with GameGuideDog.com.
Additionally, your
use of this website supports importantant sponsored charities like National
CASA, Protect.Org, and KidPeace
helping prevent domestic violence and giving aid to under-privileged children.
[The
day the Columbine incedent occurred GameGuideDog's founder David J. Garfield (previously
a Programmer for Microsoft) was working with GT Interactive
as a developer. On that day he was told to send any consumers with questions to
the legal department.
This was due to "violent video game" content connected with
the crime and a lack for a game ratings system back then. It was at
that very moment that the GameGuideDog website was born.
Giving walkthroughs and info for T and M Rated games with a disclosure
statement, David realized he could help any one of those kids had they been his
own a way to prevent such a horrible occurrence from happening again.]
